Randi Lee Puckett is a classically trained vocalist currently residing in the Washington, D.C. area. She has a Bachelor of Arts in Vocal Performance from Susquehanna University and completed a summer semester in Voice Performance and German in Vienna, Austria. She also studied acting for film and television at the New York Film Academy in New York City.
Randi grew up in south central Pennsylvania where she began taking voice and acting lessons at the age of 8 and classical voice lessons at the age of 13. During high school Randi was accepted into and studied at the Peabody Prepatory in Baltimore, Maryland prior to attending college in Selinsgrove, PA .
She is an experienced performer and voice teacher. Randi has been teaching from her home studio for five years. She is also on the voice faculty for the Allegro Community School of the Arts in Warrenton and with NM Productions, Inc. in Fairfax. Previously she was a voice and acting teacher for the Susquehanna University Preparatory Program, providing private voice lessons and acting lessons.
Randi has had the opportunity to perform in various types of venues and vocal styles, which has led her to become a well-rounded performer. Her musical theater highlights include: The Music Man (Marian, Allegro Community Players), The King and I (Anna, Dover Theater), Oklahoma (Laurey, Dover Theater), and Fiddler on the Roof (Hodel, Dover Theater). Opera highlights include scenes from: Orfeo (Proserpina, Susquehanna University), A Midsummer Night’s Dream (Titania, Susquehanna University), The Threepenny Opera (Lucy, Susquehanna University), and Street Scene (Ensemble, Susquehanna University).
She has also recently stepped into the role of Music Director for The Little Mermaid, Alice in Wonderland, and You're a Good Man, Charlie Brown for the Allegro Community Players.
Randi was also a titleholder in the Miss America Organization where she placed first in talent and physical fitness and second runner-up at the Miss Pennsylvania Scholarship Pageant and second-runner up at the Miss DC Scholarship Pageant. Through the Miss America Organization Randi performed and spoke at many special-event functions and schools and promoted her personal platform of “Enriching Our Lives through Music and the Arts” in communities around Pennsylvania.
She performed a senior full recital and junior half recital at Susquehanna University in addition to being a soloist for extensive choir tours, including Carnegie Hall as part of the Susquehanna University Choir. Randi also placed second in the National Association of Teachers Singing Competition, PA Chapter.
Her performance experience includes “The Star Spangled Banner” at professional sporting events and presidential rallies, and music for weddings, churches, and a variety of other special-events. Additionally, Randi has had the opportunity to perform as a vocal soloist guest with various orchestras and bands throughout Pennsylvania.
Randi also holds a Master of Arts in Human Services with an emphasis in Executive Leadership from Liberty University and a Bachelor of Arts in Broadcast Communications from Susquehanna University. She spent 10 years in the government contracting business as a leader in the Learning and Development and Performance Management Fields.
